All bars are designed so that the canvas is always a full 1/2 inch from the stretcher bar to insure that there will be no ghost impressions on the canvas. The rounded back edge reduces surface friction and allows for a smoother, tighter draw on the canvas, yielding a more even painting surface. All feature a slotted back for easy installation of support braces.

The Super hight heavy duty stretcher support braces fit perfectly into a slot on the heavy duty stretcher frame. Sold only with stretcher strip orders. For sizes longer than 36"(90cm) please use our standard and professional support braces for greater strength and stability.
