The Super width design artist stretcher bars are are made of first quality precision-cut kiln dried fir wood and pine wood. They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. The notched edges fit all brands that conform to the Super width dimensions of 2-3/8 inch wide and 13/16 inch deep. They can use tongue & groove corner joints or connect by a special agglutinant and "V" nail.

We recommend use of our support braces for strips over 36 inch(90cm), to maintain frame strength. The support braces are sold only with stretcher strip orders. If you make an order and need braces, please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.
